QPR VS Aston Villa

Friday Night football sees the Hoops take on the Villans. QPR have been in good form recently picking up two wins in their most recent games and looking like they are starting to gel as a side. After a 7 goal pasting at the start of the season to West Brom, there has been a huge turn around from the side and Aston Villa will have a lot to handle. Aston Villa, on the other hand, who have been in poor form, sit 16th in the table and look to be really struggling and with a 2-1 loss against Norwich at home in their most recent match things look to be going from bad to worse. Overall although they are not the strongest side on paper and I think the Hoops will give the Villans a run for their money.

Game Changers: Freeman, Luongo, Bolasie and Grealish.

Leicester City vs West Ham

Saturday Night provides a great game for us to watch. Both sides have been in poor form recently but I feel this game will be a rebirth for one of the two. Leicester are just lacking their finishing touch at the moment and are simply slipping up and making errors they really shouldn’t make. However, we all know they still have a class side, even after Mahrez’s departure. With Vardy’s pace in behind and Ndidi’s strength in the midfield, as well as Harry Maguire and Schmiechal in defence, I think it will be hard for West Ham to stop them. Speaking of West Ham they come to Leicester with no confidence at all as they have had an awful start to the season, but there have been a few sparks of brilliance. Felipe Anderson in parts has looked a very good player, so to Arnautovic, however, they have simply lacked class in front of goal this season and I feel sorry for a defence who have had pressure heaped onto them this season and they haven’t been able to cope. Overall Leicester are simply too good for the Irons but it will be an interesting match.

Game Changers: Vardy, Maguire, Anderson and Arnautovic

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Another London derby for Arsenal this month and if its anything like last years fixture it certainly won’t disappoint (not for Arsenal fans anyway). However, Crystal Palace have had an okay start putting in some good performances in parts but have in truth been poor in places as well as being unlucky but you tend to find, good luck comes with playing well and I don’t think they are playing well enough. Despite this Zaha has been playing well for them and showing how class of a player he is. If he gets it right we all know what he can do to this Arsenal defence that is blighted with injuries. On the other hand, Arsenal have been playing really well getting good results under the new manager and scoring for fun in the league as shown by the fact the team has scored 8 goals in their last two and Aubameyang has scored 4 goals in his last 57 minutes of football. With this threat against a shaky Palace defence, I think Arsenal might go on to 12 straight wins.

Game Changers: Zaha, Benteke, Aubameyang and Lacazette

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

EL CLASSICO!!! Well I have been waiting for this for a while. Interestingly this is the first Classico in the last ten years that Messi and Ronaldo have not both been playing in. However, even though these stars are gone we have to look at the two sides set to battle it out for the honour and pride of their cities. Barclona are a top side and deserve to be at the top of the table. With depth in every position and the choice of Malcom and Dembele to ‘replace’ Messi they are a really fearsome side. Real Madrid also have a good side but for me their squad has been overrated because of Ronaldo. Yes they have some top talent like Modric and Bale but I feel their players don’t have the spark or desire instilled into them by Ronaldo.

Game Changers; Bale, Modric, Ter Stegen and Coutinho

Man United vs Everton

Oh Man United, Oh Man United what has happened to you. The giants of the Premier League and once the giants of the world have truly fallen from grace. This is one of the worst sides I have seen Man United produce. Discouraged demotivated and just awful to watch I think there is still more pain to come for United. Will Everton be the hands of more pain, I think so. Marco Silva has transformed a boring Everton side into an attacking, formidable side. At the heart of this is Richarlison who I think has the potential to be a  world class talent as so many Brazilians are predicted to be. Overall for me Everton will win this comfortably and it will just be another hurdle for United.

Game Changers: Pogba, De Gea, Richarlison and Pickford

Tottenham vs Man City

Tottenham, I’m sorry to say but this year isn’t going well for you either. Although the league campaign is slow and steady the champions league has been woeful and with a draw against PSV midweek and Hugo Lloris’s red card I think this match will be a bad one. Even though Spurs possess some exciting, attacking talent their defence seems to be lacking and their decision making has been poor. Man City on the other hand are joint top of the league and have been playing like champions. With Aguero in fine form and De Bruyne being de Bruyne I think City will score plently and walk over the North London side who’s confidence seems to have been knocked off course.

Game Changers; Moura, Kane, Aguero, De Bruyne
