Sheffield United vs Sheffield Wednesday

Friday Night hosts the Steel City derby and what a night it will be in Sheffield. The Owls have been in extremely poor form this season and have lost four Championship matches in-a-row, conceding 12 in the process, and they head into this crucial derby looking ragged. With the in-form Sharp bearing down on this leaky defence this could be an awful night for the Owls. The Blades started the season in fine form finding themselves top after their first couple of games but have subsequently lost their last three games in the Championship and they have dropped points against Derby, Stoke and Nottingham Forest who for me are all far better sides than Wednesday – yes, even Stoke. For me, the Blades are by far the stronger side in this fixture and I can see them scoring lots of goals against this Wednesday side.

Cardiff City vs Brighton

Saturday provides some great fixtures but the first of these televised games is Cardiff vs Brighton which most would see in the past as an even game, but Brighton have been in outstanding form and come to Cardiff as a strong side. Cardiff come into this game on the back of two losses but after facing Leicester and Liverpool no one expected them to win these games. Beating Fulham recently, Cardiff have been a side who have picked up a lot of attention and for, me this could be a game where Cardiff face a similar level opposition and really could make a statement. Sadly though Cardiff aren’t strong enough to beat this Brighton outfit who have really impressed recently and looking at their squad you can see why as they actually have a lot of class. Cardiff deserve a break after having to play an emotional Leicester but sport doesnt work like that.

Game Changers: Knockeart, Duffy, Etheridge and Hoilett

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur

Selhurst Park welcomes Spurs on Saturday Night in a London Derby. This is Palace’s third game out of the dreaded four they have to play in a row against top flight opposition and so far its been ok. After getting a draw with Tottenham’s arch rivals Arsenal and losing at the Bridge, Palace could be in a good place if they can get a result against the ‘mighty’ Spurs. Anyway, more about Palace, star player Zaha has been in some simply fantastic form and is going to be a real handful, for an at times shaky Tottenham defence. Tottenham, on the other hand, have been playing well in the Premier League this season but were beaten last week by City so this could have knocked their confidence and with speculation about the managers future, it could translate onto the pitch. Overall I think both sides love a goal and I feel this one will be a high scorer.

Game Changers: Zaha, Townsend, Kane and Moura

Liverpool vs Fulham

Let’s be honest, could it be any worse for Fulham at the moment. When your bottom of the league, without a point in their last five and losing to Huddersfield you know that you’re in deep, deep trouble – and then you have to play Liverpool. The Reds, who having lost to Red Star Belgrade and drawing with Arsenal aren’t having the best of times either but are in far better shape than Fulham and being at Anfield as well, with their attack, they are going to have a field day. In fact with the form Fulham are in it could go to double figures. Liverpool for me are simply too good for this Fulham side who I think travel to Anfield expecting to lose this one.

Game Changers: Mane, Van Dijk, Seri and Sessegnon

Chelsea vs Everton

The Bridge host the toffies in what I expect will be a great game for everyone to see. Chelsea have been in great form recently and have had a very good start to the season. A big win against Palace last week in the London derby will definitely give them a huge confidence boost going into this game. With wins in all their last four games and Eden Hazard living up to his possible claim as the best player in the world, the Blues are a strong side here and one not be underestimated. The Toffies, on the other hand, have had some decent form in their last five, winning three, drawing one and losing to United which for me is very good for them. Richarlison has been in great form scoring two in his last match and looking absolute quality, if he can take this form into this match it could make the game very interesting. For me, even though Chelsea have been rock solid I can see them slippig up here as they do have lapses and as Everton are developing as a team I think they can get a result here.

Game Changers: Hazard, Kante, Richarlison and Sigurdsson

Man City vs Man United

Sunday night, great teams, great players and great games, its the Manchester Derby! Last season at the Etihad was a thriller and one United fans absolutely loved! If this games is anything like the last we have got a game to watch. City have just been themselves this season, even with the injured De Bruyne who some say they don’t even need there that good! Anyway City have been in incredible form this season picking up points left right and centre. With every player playing well its hard to see them slippingup here. However United might be on the road to recovery after a win against Bournemouth sees them climb up the table again and get back to where they belong. With Martial in great form and Paul Pogba playing like he did in the world cup we have seriuously got a game that will be full of spills, thrills and plently of goals.

Game Changers: Agueroooooooooo!!!!, Mahrez, Pogba and Martial
