West Brom vs Aston Villa

I have debated long and hard over this belting Birmingham derby game a lot recently. I have come to the conclusion, after Monday’s result where West Brom drew after a 90th-minute equaliser from Brentford that Aston Villa will win the game. West Brom showed on Monday night that they didn’t have enough quality and really should have won the game. Instead, they drew and after many missed chances they just threw it away and this will not give confidence to the side who will face a strong Aston Villa and who are in a great run of form recently after a dodgy start. In addition to this Aston Villa are having no trouble scoring goals at the moment and Tammy Abraham has scored 11 and assisted one in 20 games. He also just scored 4 in one match against Nottingham Forests, he is in red hot form.

Game Changers: Gayle, Livermore, Grealish and Abraham

AFC Bournemouth vs Liverpool

I feel this game is a foregone conclusion as Bournemouth slipped up recently against Arsenal, who are lower in the table than Liverpool and I feel this game could be another where Bournemouth can’t quite cut the mustard. Both sides did win mid week with Bournemouth winning against Huddersfield at home and Liverpool getting a convincing win away at Turf Moor. Bournemouth have been in good form of late but I feel a top side like Liverpool will expose these flaws as Arsenal did only two weeks ago and Liverpool are arguably the better side. For me, I simply think Liverpool will win this one but with both sides being more than capable at scoring it could be a goal fest.

Chelsea vs Man City

Chelsea host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in what promises to be an action-packed game full of thrills. Midweek was a successful one for Man City as they got another win on the road against Watford and although it wasn’t a convincing display, with many missed chances, it stills shows how City will always find a way to get a result. On the other hand Chelsea lost Midweek to Wolves, who were on a losing streak at the hands of teams like Cardiff and Huddersfield and Chelsea simply played really poorly. I think its a foregone conclusion City are going to win this one as they are unbeatable at the moment and are scoring for fun. However, in saying this both sides have quality attacks and are more than capable at scoring, so again I think it will be a high scoring game.

Game Changers: Hazard, Kante, Aguero and Silva

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester welcome Tottenham to the King Power Stadium and I think this one will feature a Tottenham win. After Tottenham’s weekend embarrassment at the Emirates losing 4-2 they have bounced back during Midweek getting a solid 3 – 1 win over Southampton. This shows a resilience in Tottenham to not let defeats effect them and I think they will come back and want to prove themselves against Leicester. Leicester themselves have been in some average form getting two draws and one win in their last three and I simply don’t think the side is good enough to win the game and Tottenham are too strong for them.

Game Changers: Kane, Moura, Vardy and Maddison

Newcastle vs Wolves

Earlier this week I thought Newcastle would win this one with Wolves being in such poor form, but then they beat Chelsea and things for me have changed. It showed a Wolves side who could have been disheartened and demotivated for this game and not really bothered but instead they gave everything they had and showed the class they could have, which is where they trump Newcastle. If they can channel this energy and passion in their football they will be too good for Newcastle, who although got a good result against Everton I think will just not be good enough.

Game Changers: Kenedy, Rondon, Neves and Moutinho

Back Wolves at a generous 17/10 with Betfair

Everton vs Watford

Coming into the game before the results of midweek I thought Everton could win as they played well in the derby and let’s be honest should have gotten more than a point but midweek was simply just a disaster they just didn’t capitalise on their chances at all and were so poor in front of goal. However, I think they will be able to turn this around and even though they missed a lot of chances I don’t think they will let this happen again. Also even though Pickford made a critical mistake in the derby, no one can say he is not a talented keeper and I’m sure will do his best to make sure Everton don’t make mistakes like this again. In addition to this Watford are in poor form at the moment losing their last three games and not looking up to much in truth.

Game Changers: Richarlison, Pickford, Deeney and Doucoure.
