Norwich City vs Birmingham City

Friday and another championship game! Norwich are in desperate need of points in this game to get back into the automatic promotion places after not winning a game in their last five in all competitions. Norwich have been able to score plenty at home this season which stands them in good stead for this game with 16 goals coming from their last 5 matches at Carrow Road. Their opponents Birmingham haven’t been in great form either managing one win in their last five games in all competitions. However, the Blues sit nicely in 8th place just outside the playoff spots and if they can get a result here it would be a huge boost for their promotion campaign with a win taking them above Bristol City. Overall due to the nature of Carrow Roads last five games being thrillers and high scoring I think this one will follow suit.

Game Changers: Pukki, Klose, Jota and Jutkiewicz

Back over 2.5 goals at evens with Willian Hill.

Wolves vs Leicester City

This game is essentially for a Europa League Place at this stage in the season. If Leicester win they go seventh ahead of Watford and if Wolves win they go level on points with Watford. For Wolves though things really haven’t been easy this season as they seem to be able to topple the giants but lose to the small clubs, the Robin Hood of Football. After the win against Liverpool in the FA Cup Wolves got battered by City and found themselves down to ten men after 19 minutes due to Willy Boly’s rash and extremely dangerous challenge meaning they will miss him in this game. Opponents Leicester travel to Wolves worse for wear after a defeat to Southampton with their previous match being a 2 – 1 loss to Newport County. Leicester need to sort themselves out fast or risk missing out on a Europa league place. Both these sides are struggling to score at the moment with Wolves and Leicester only being able to score over 2.5 goals in only 40% of their games.

Arsenal vs Chelsea

A London Derby and about time! This game always delivers a thriller with the previous game in the season seeing 5 goals. Arsenal have just struggled since the end of their 22 game unbeaten run which really papered over the huge cracks in the squad at the moment and has again brought about more tension between the fans and the owner Stan Kroenke. The players have to deliver, a loss to West Ham last week was simply not good enough as they should have won and their finishing was poor. Arsenal needs to step up for this game and get some points which gives them a bit of momentum to try and claw themselves back into champion league places. Rivals Chelsea have exactly the same task as Arsenal and have had pretty similar form although only losing to Tottenham a far better side than West Ham. The Blues main man Hazard has been incredible this season notching up 10 goals and 10 assists the first player to hit double figures this season and he will definetly cause trouble for the Arsenal defence. I don’t really know where this one will go as Arsenal are at home were they have very good form but judging from previous results I think this one will be a high scorer.

Huddersfield vs Man City

Unfortunately for Huddersfield fans I don’t have a lot of hope for them in this one as they have struggled this year. Wagners gone and Man City have scored 24 goals in their last five games. The Terriers haven’t won a game in five and sit rock bottom in the table whereas Man City are second and have scored more goals than any other team this year. Basically, I think Man City are going to score plenty in this one.

Game Changers: Aguero, Sane, De Bruyne and Mounie

Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Another London derby, we don’t see any for weeks and look what we have just like London buses I guess! Fulham are 19th and things are just going bad to worse for them as they got knocked out of the FA Cup by Oldham and have lost their last 2 Premier League games. Again its another side just leaking goals and against a Polished outfit of Tottenham, I don’t think it will be a good game for them. Tottenham did lose to United in the last game but I feel they will easily bounce back from it as that’s what good sides do. Even with Harry Kane injured they still have Son, Alli and Erikson to steer the ship. Again this ones a high scorer.

Game Changers: Mitrovic, Son, Alli and Erikson

Bolton Wanderers vs West Brom

A championship game, on a Monday! Bolton travel to the Hawthorns hoping to climb out of the relegation zone. Its been a tough season for Bolton who recently suffered a 6 – 0 defeat to no other than Hull which is pretty embarrassing. Bolton have just struggled to keep the goals out and need some serious investment in this window in order to simply achieve safety. West Brom, on the other hand, are flying and are really pushing for the automatic promotion spots sitting only three points outside. Dwight Gayle has been smashing home the scoring 14 goals and really putting in a huge contribution for the Midlands side. I think West Brom take the points with this one as i feel they are simply too good and are title contenders whereas Bolton are relegation contenders.

Game Changers: Ameobi, Beevers, Chadli and Gayle
