Preston North End vs Derby County

This is a huge game for Derby as they are just hovering in the last playoff spot as they have been for the last two or three seasons. A win at the Deepdale fires them further up the table, where they desperately need to be just so they can secure a playoff spot. The Rams have a great record at Preston winning their last four matches there and to be fair to them have been in good form winning their last two games. Sadly for Preston, I think they will struggle here as Derby are simply a better side.

Game Changers: Mount, Lawrence, Pearson and Maguire (not that one!)

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle

Newcastle made the title race a lot more exciting after that huge win against City. In fairness to the Magpies they were superb and battled for every ball and if they can conjure up the same performance Tottenham are in for a tough game. Speaking of which Spurs got a late win against Watford at Wembley (side note they had the lowest attendance percentage of any team in Premier League history against Watford) and show even without Kane and Alli they are a tough side to beat. However, Newcastle will be buzzing with confidence after that game against the Champions and I expect they will be brimming with confidence coming into the game. Its a big ask but I think Rafa’s men can get a result

Game Changers: Son, Erikson, Rondon and Dubravka

Cardiff City vs Bournemouth

Firstly id like to start off with my condolences to Emiliano Salas family, friends and the Cardiff City community at this very difficult time. Cardiff fought very hard against Arsenal and the gunners were lucky to win as the Bluebirds created a lot of chances and I believe they have grown into the league and are starting to become a decent side. However, the Bluebirds are coming up against an opposition that’s on fire, the Cherries smashed Chelsea and made it looked like they were a team of former Premier League champions. I know Cardiff will be all fired up for this game but with the form, Bournemouth are on they are going to be so hard to beat. In saying this I feel Cardiff with the emotion at the ground the occasion will play the game of their lives and I think they’re going to win, its a risk but one I think its worth taking.

Leicester City vs Manchester United

After City’s genuine slip-up Leicester City and Harry Maguire’s efforts have possibly saved humanity from the wrath of Liverpool fans and them winning the League. Leicester looked a genuine threat and everyone worked so hard and gave everything. If they can do this against a top United side it should be a really entertaining game. United have been in incredible form and haven’t lost a game under Ole Solskjaer. The hero of 1999 have resurrected United and made them a really difficult team to break down and a threat going forward. But and its a very big but they drew to Burnley at home who are fighting relegation. The gulf in class was evident but United simply underperformed and this is very worrying going into a tough run of games for the Red Devils. I honestly think Leicester are a better side than they are perceived and i think that United could slip up.

Game Changers: Maguire, Mendy, Pogba and Lindelof

Man City vs Arsenal

This could decide if Liverpool win the title or not. If City win which they probably will, given the state of Arsenals defensive injuries at the moment they stay close to the Reds whereas if Arsenal win which is unlikely and Liverpool win their game then City are eight points off and Liverpool would need Steven Gerrard to bottle it. The Centurions messed up against Newcastle and I don’t think Guardiola will let it slide and I think they will come out all guns blazing. The Invincibles (if only!) are in trouble, the attacks good but everything else after that is a bit of a shambles. Who knows can Arsenal cause an upset or will Cities attack put half a dozen past them.

Game Changers: Aguero, De Bruyne, Aubameyang and Lacazette

West Ham vs Liverpool

Its a must win game and the title race is hotting up and becomes more exciting as the games go by. As a neutral its fantastic but as a player its must be awful. I’ve got the feeling that every team and player that come up against Liverpool want to beat them just so they don’t win the Premier League. The Hammers have been ok this season and probably would be a bit annoyed considering the summer investment that they aren’t a few places higher but its a work in progress. Felipe Anderson has been superb and against a Liverpool defence that looks a bit shaky, he is a worry. The Reds have looked blunt and against Leicester, they ran out of attacking ideas. I think generally their attacks starting to slow down a bit and don’t look as good as they did at the start of the season. I like an exciting bet and as they are at home and at a good price i think the Irons could get a result.

Game Changers: Anderson, Nasri, Salah and Van Dijk
